Summer Workshop on Cell Biology Techniques in Animal Experimentation
The Biotechnologists Association of Leon (ABLE) organizes, in collaboration with the Bioma Cultural Association from Leon and promoted by the Spanish Federation of Biotechnologists, the 2nd workshop on “Cell Biology Techniques in Animal Experimentation”. The course will place during 15th-22th July 2013 in Leon (Spain) at the University of Leon facilities. During this week the attendants will get to know the main principles of animal handling as well as the procedures of collection and preparation of biological samples. Moreover, they will carry out not only routine techniques in the Cell Biology laboratory but also more powerful assays such as inmunocytochemistry. In addition, attendants will learn how to make image captures with light, fluorescence and confocal microscopes by themselves. This course will take place in English, unless all attendants are Spanish speakers.

Patents in Biotechnology
Patents in Biotechnology is a workshop organized by the Spanish Federation of Biotechnologist (FEBiotec) and the Biotechnologists Association of Madrid (AsBioMad). It is aimed towards life science graduates, professionals, researchers and students interested in IP field in biotechnology.The course will take place on 24th and 31st May in Madrid (Spain), at the Agronomic Engineers Technical College (Avenida Complutense s/n. Ciudad Universitaria, 28040 Madrid ) in the Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid). The course will take place in Spanish.
